“What second issue?”
“Someone called the florist and canceled the white roses you requested for the ceremony. They replaced the order with red roses.”
I looked at Margaret.
She had gone completely still.
“Who authorized the changes?” I asked.
“The requests came through the wedding email account.”
I hadn’t accessed that account since the previous afternoon.
Vanessa had.
Margaret immediately contacted the florist and restored the original order. Ryan called the venue’s security manager and requested that all future changes require verbal confirmation from either Margaret or me.
The situation was becoming more serious than a ruined dress or missing rings.
Someone was actively trying to manipulate the wedding logistics.
At 10:12, Kendra arrived at the estate and asked to speak to me privately.
She looked pale, her eyes red from crying.
“I need to tell you something,” she said.
I invited her into the small room beside the bridal suite. Chloe stayed with me while Ryan waited outside.
