A man kept manspreading into my plane seat for hours—when he returned from the restroom, he shouted, “What the hell did you do?!”

She moved me because I was the problem.

Not the victim. The noise.

I have been telling a story for a year in which a cabin manager looked at a situation and sided with the right woman, and what actually happened is that a professional removed the most volatile element from row nineteen so that the rest of the flight could proceed.

And it worked. It was the correct decision. Nothing else happened for four and a half hours.

The man.

I am not going to rehabilitate him.

He was offensive from the stand and he said what he said and he reached across me, and he was spoken to by a cabin manager and he deserved it.

I do not know his name and I do not want it. He is about fifty and he is somewhere and he has presumably told this on a golf course as a story about a mad woman and a handbag.
