Chapter 1: My Father-in-Law Laughed When I Walked Into Court Alone, Believing I Was Broke and Powerless. He Had No Idea I Was a Military Prosecutor Who Knew Every Crime His Family Ever Hid. X008

“Mrs. Hale,” Judge Morrison intervened, her voice tight with profound concern, “are you asserting under oath that the marital waiver was procured under false pretenses and criminal coercion?”

“I am asserting, Your Honor, that the waiver was signed under direct fraudulent concealment of assets, and furthermore, that my signature on page forty-eight was forged after I refused to sign the offshore asset transfer.”

The courtroom went so dead quiet that you could hear the soft whir of the ceiling fan spinning three stories above us.

“You have proof of forgery?” Judge Morrison asked, her pen suspended above her docket.

“I do, Your Honor,” I said, pulling the third document from my folder.

“This is a certified forensic handwriting analysis conducted by the former chief document examiner for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”

“It concludes that the signature on the filed waiver was copied using a high-resolution laser transfer of my signature from our joint military housing application filed five years ago.”
